Came here again this week and ordered the stir fry thai basil with chicken and veggies. Simply great Thai food in a very simple presentation. Amazing how they only use chicken breast with all skin and fat removed. Perfect seasoning (ordered medium) and mix of ingredients. Simply wonderful compared to the 'ugh' meal I had at Pagoda Chinese two days before. Service and atmosphere very 'Fairbanks simple' which left one star for them to work for; but tummy very happy today ;-) Greg

Since moving to the base (Eielson) my husband and I have not been impressed with the food nearby. Not surprising for the limited choices in North Pole. But today we tried this place and were pleasantly surprised. It was no frills, simple, good thai food.(see photos) The green curry had the perfect amount of spice. We just moved from San Francisco and this is better than any of the green curries I had there. I'd say its the best I've had in the last 11 years or so. Even my husband who usually is not a fan of the curries enjoyed it. We also had pad thai. I do typically like the wider rice noodles, but the flavor was awesome and the dish was not at all dry as has been the most recent trend. Our server was nice ( at least to us. She kept yelling at someone back in the kitchen, which was very entertaining to us ^_^). Prices were reasonable for Alaska, pad thai for $12, curry for $14. We'll definitely make this one of our regular joints.

I'm not an expert, but this Thai food is fantastic. The chicken param is my favorite and the green chicken curry is excellent. I can't speak for the service as I didn't eat in.

The food and service here is top notch. There are no other Thai places in North Pole to choose from because they cannot compete. Out of all the different cities I've had Thai food in, this place has the best quality and authenticity as they do not water down their coconut milk. I almost always get the Green Curry Seafood combination. These 1-2 star reviews are inaccurate and unwarranted.

Amazing! It's funny, I've been all over the US and my wife has even eaten in Thailand and we both love it. She says it's the closest thing to authentic you can get without being in Thailand. I can't speak for ALL the food but the chicken pad thai and the beef pad tour que (spelling??) is amazing! I've heard the sweet and sour pork is good too from friends but I've never personally tried it. Thai Tea... best I've ever had! (Although I've never been to Thailand). Who would have thought one of the best thai food restaurants would be in North Pole Alaska?!

Traveling for work in the area, and decided to try this place on our second night here. We entered the small market/restaurant and were greeted by a friendly young woman. After being instructed to sit where we like, we chose our seat as a young couple was finishing their meal. Shortly after sitting, the young couple finished up and paid. Meanwhile, we sat patiently waiting to have our order taken. After listening to the woman who greeted us carry a conversation with another employee, who was stocking shelves, for ten plus minutes we decided to leave. We figured that being the only folks in the place we would have had some service, but received none. In the end we went back to Pagoda down the road again. It was awesome and the service was, again, impeccable. My take, go to Pagoda and not here.

In all honesty, this is the worst Thai food I have ever had. At least you can get some in North Pole, but the steak salad was way too sweet, the curry was nothing special, the pad Thai and drunken noodles are both bland as well. I suggest visiting one of the many other Thai places in Fairbanks or getting this if you are in NP and just really want Thai. However, of all the states and places I have lived, this place is honestly at the very bottom for taste quality.

Delicious Mussaman!! Surprised by a delicious Thai meal in North Pole, AK but that's probably because I'm a jerk and had some kind of preconceived notion of what to expect out there.

For all of you rating this place more than 1 or 2 stars, you've been eating in Fairbanks too long! We had the Panang curry, this dish has the consistency of elmers glue and there wasn't any thai basil in it, just some not so tasty shredded carrots and rubbery chicken. The sampler appetizer is no where near Thai. They are frozen out of a box. The pad thai noodles... ugh. the only thing that was good was tom yom but our friend ordered it Thai hot which is FIRE so we couldn't really eat it... so disappointed, I had high hopes after reading all the reviews. Sadly you all led me wrong! For how expensive this place is, you would hope the quality of the food would be good.

Food was awesome.. drunken noodle is one of my favorite things to order and would recommend. Family friendly and family run. Have eaten here several times and have taken friends and family. Very clean restaurant.

I was in Fairbanks and looking for a decent place to eat that didn't have a "chain" feel to it. I queried Yelp and found Thai Cuisine Restaurant. Glad I did. Who would think you could find good Thai food in North Pole Alaska out of all places? The food was very good, the presentation of the food was good, the service was nice, and the restaurant help even let me sneak a bottle of wine into the restaurant to have with my meal. How can you beat that? The ambiance here is a little lacking (maybe some Thai music would add to the scene) and the restaurant itself is a little outdated, but if you don't mind that stuff, then come here for good solid Thai food when you are in the Fairbanks/North Pole area.

I'm a local here and I will tell you this is the place you need to eat at if you're new here. I usually go for the curry, Panang has become my favorite. Can't go wrong with a green or a red either. Some have told me the service is bad but I have never run in to that. A bit pricey at dinner time but good portions. try the green guava candy at the counter before you leave.

It's always been a great experience at Thai Cuisine. The food is always fantastic, and the service is pretty decent for a family owned, small town establishment. Also, the prices can't be beat. The food is just as good, if not better, than some Thai places in Fairbanks, and it's dollars cheaper.

Delicious. What can I say? Even better that I don't have to drive all the way up to Fairbanks for Thai food.

First time in Fairbanks, and we decided to try a local joint. Picked Thai Cuisine and we were glad we did. Tasty veggies, quality meat, and great tasting tofu....will go back as soon as we can!!!

Dinky little restaurant - but they sure know how to cook Thai food - this is a great little restaurant and the customer service is good as well. They make their Thai Iced tea a little to sweet for me - but at least they have it available!
